Diving FAQ’s
Where do you offer dive trips to?
Everywhere on the east coast of the Musandam Peninsula, we have diving from our speedboats and dhows, both day and overnight trips up to 7 nights.
I haven’t dived in awhile what should I do?
We require those who haven’t dived within 6 months to do a refresher course before joining our group guided dives this is for your comfort and the comfort of your fellow divers. Please contact us for details.
I would like to learn how to dive, how do I go about it?
Please contact us, we’d be more than happy to discuss the best options for you.
Do you supply rental equipment?
Yes we have Scubapro and Aqualung equipment available for rent.
What type of wetsuit should I wear?
A 3mm shorty or full-length is suitable.
What type of cylinders do you use?
11Lt Aluminum
Do you have DIN and international fittings?
Yes
Do you supply Nitrox?
Yes, please contact us with your required mix
Do you have an O2 analyzer?
Yes
Do you supply refreshments on your vessels?
Yes, juice & water on speedboat trips, buffet lunch on our day dhow cruise and live-aboard trips are fully catered.
Can I bring a non-diving partner?
Yes, they will pay the boat only rate.
Must I produce my cert card and logbook?
Yes, for every dive trip you join with us. If you have lost your card and are PADI certified we can check online, we will need your name as on the card (including initials if relevant) and birth date.
How many people does can the dive speedboat accommodate?
Min of 4 and max of 14, unless for a private booking.
I don`t have a buddy can I still dive with you?
No problem we can buddy you up with someone else or the dm.
Do you do decompression diving?
No
Whats the maximum depth limit on dives?
30m unless doing DEEP DIVER SPECIALTY COURSE (40m)
