Al Maqtah

Location: The second point inside Khor Habelyn and inside of Ras Dillah. The entrance to one of our favourite overnight mooring areas – Al Maqtah bay

Type of Dive Site: Wall up to 12m and then sloping reef on the Eastern drop

Depth: 5 – 26

Marine Life: Turtles, Leopard Shark, Yellow Boxy, Nudibranchs, Fusiliers, Marble Ray

Remarks: Check which way current if any is going and this will determine a drop in on the point or further along the wall. Excellent night dive dropping inside the headland in the bay and diving in a northerly direction
