Ras Musandam

Location: The south side of Jazirat Musandam which is 45.6 nm @ 198 Degrees from Dibba port of Oman

Type of Dive Site: Very shallow but incredibly beautiful coral gardens in the middle of the island but gets progressively deeper as you near the south eastern point

Depth: 5 – Unknown

Marine Life: Red Snappers, King Fish, Whale Sharks, Big-Eye Tuna, Eagle Ray, Turtle, Batfish and shoal of jack Fish, huge Honeycomb Eels, Barracuda and Fusiliers. Sometimes if you are lucky you might see Leopard and Black Tip Shark in the area

Remarks: This will require an advance diver because there is always strong current present in the area. It is not a problem to go along with the Current.  Just beware of the down and up current. Entry from the South East and you could go with the current and swim along the reef which is on your left side. The best drift dive in the Musandam
