Umm Al Fayyarin / Mother of Mouse

Location: This off-shore island is located between Habelyn and Shaboos bays located 35.0nm @ 201 degrees from Dibba port of Oman

Type of Dive Site: Sloping coral reef becoming more vertical on the North / South points and table corals at 5 – 10m

Depth: 5 – 40+

Marine Life: Giant Barracuda, Cow Tail Rays, Torpedo Rays, Snappers, Eagle Rays, Eels, Mola-Mola, Whale Sharks, Black Tip Sharks, Kingfish, Turtles and Nudibranchs

Remarks: One of the best dives in the Musandam. However due to its location, it must be dived with an accompanying guide who has local knowledge. There are thermoclines here and appropriate exposure protection is advisable
