Ras Samid

Location: Ras Samid is the mouth of Khor Qabal (South) which is 24.2 nm @ 200 degrees from Dibba port of Oman

Type of Dive Site: Sloping coral reef down to a sandy bottom

Depth: 5 – 16

Marine Life: Shoals of Barracuda and Fusilier, Bat Fish, Cuttle Fish, Lobster and Turtle

Remarks: This is a shallow area applicable for the third / night dive in a day. Beautiful soft corals can be seen. Start your dive entry from the interior of the bay and swim towards the East / Ras Samid. Very shallow on entry
